George Onslow's Association

What do we do ?

The association is helping to make George Onslow more widely known through his life and works. It promotes his works mainly through scholarly publications and through its involvement in various events devoted to the composer (concerts, conferences, recordings, seminars, etc.)

This site aims to create links between all the people and institutions (musicians, researchers or amateurs) interested in George Onslow who wish to learn about his works or share in their rediscovery. The documents in the association's archives are available for consultation, including scores and parts.

Anyone - musicologists, musicians, publishers, lecturers, etc. - wishing to announce events or academic work concerning the composer, or the publication of printed music or studies, is cordially invited to write to us.

The members

To become a member

There are no particular conditions for membership of the George Onslow Association. It is open to both individuals and institutions. The annual fee is € 20 for individuals and € 30 for administrations (cheques or postal payments only). Cheques issued outside France must be made out in Euros and drawn on a bank based in France. Otherwise payment should be by direct transfer: please contact the Association for our relevant bank details.
